Overview

Fitterfly has developed a partner application with a leading insurance provider. This app is to acts as a lead generation source for their flagship program - Fitterfly Diabetes Prime

Problem Statement

How might we create an upsell journey for selling Fitterfly Diabetes Prime to users in our partner apps


Solution

Strategically place upsell-related banners in long-term fitness or stress plans by asking the user to upgrade

Hypothesis

If we show contextual banners in plans,

then we will be able to achieve a CTR of ~10%

because we are connecting the pain point with the program offerings

Goal

For a user base of ~1000 monthly active users, generate 10% leads every month.

Success Metrics

  • CTR on upsell banner to pricing page ~10%
  • Conversion Rate from banner to lead generation
  • Conversion Rate from lead generation to program enrollment

Experiment Design

We want to add an upsell banner to all long-term plan pages to upsell Fitterfly Diabetes Prime

  • user clicks on Upsell Banner (highlighted in black)
  • user lands on Fitterfly Diabetes Prime program page
  • user shows interest and system generates a lead

Control Group

  • control group will continue to see the original design with no banner

Implementation & A/A Test

Segmentation

  • users having total fitness score <40 (average & below) will be shown Variation A banner

Audience & Sample Size

For a target group of 1000 users, the sample size is 278 users.
